The TourXP Mabinay Caves & Valencia Xplore Day Tour is a popular destination for tourists visiting the province of Negros Oriental in the Philippines. The tour takes guests on an exciting adventure to explore the breathtaking natural wonders of the Mabinay Caves and the lush greenery of Valencia.

The tour begins in the morning, with guests being picked up from their hotels and driven to the town of Mabinay. The town is known for its numerous caves, and the first stop on the tour is the Mabinay Bulwang Cave System. “Bulwang” means “big hole“ and is also the name of the barangay where majority of the caves are located. The Bulwang cave system is made up of more than 400 caves, some of which are open to the public for exploration. Guests can choose from a variety of caves to explore, depending on their skill level and interests. Some of the most popular caves to visit in the Bulwang Cave network include the Odloman Cave, Crystal Cave, and Panligawan Cave. Guests will be briefed by a local guide on safety precautions and what to expect during the cave exploration. Guests are then provided with safety gear, including helmets, flashlights.

These caves are considered to be among the most extensive and impressive cave systems in the country, with the Bulwang Cave network spanning over 10 kilometers and   featuring fascinating rock formations and underground pools.

The Bulwang Cave network is made up of several interconnected caves, each with its own unique features and characteristics. The caves are known for their large, airy chambers, stunning rock formations, and underground rivers. Guests to the Bulwang Cave network can take guided tours to explore the various caves, and see the many hidden wonders within them. The cave network is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including bats, spiders, and other creatures that thrive in the dark and humid conditions.

The cave exploration can take anywhere from one to two hours, depending on the guests' pace and interests. It is essential to wear sturdy footwear, as the cave floor can be slippery and uneven. Guests should also be prepared for some tight spaces and scrambling over rocks.

The Crystal Cave is a single cave with a unique feature that sets it apart from other caves in the area. The cave is named for the translucent calcite crystals that adorn its walls, creating a dazzling display of light and color. The crystals were formed over thousands of years by the gradual deposition of minerals in the cave's limestone walls. Guests to the Crystal Cave can  see the many amazing formations and crystal displays.

Exploring the caves can be an exhilarating experience, with narrow passages, stalactites and stalagmites, and underground rivers to navigate. Guests can also expect to encounter a range of wildlife, including bats, swiftlets, and cave-dwelling insects.

When exploring the Mabinay caves, it's important to wear appropriate clothing that will help keep you comfortable and safe throughout your adventure. Here are some tips on what to wear when exploring the cave:

  2. Good quality shoes: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes with a good grip. The cave floor can be slippery, so avoid wearing sandals, flip-flops, or shoes with smooth soles.

It's also a good idea to bring a change of clothes, as you may get wet or muddy during the tour. Remember to follow the guidelines and safety precautions given by the tour guide, and respect the natural environment by not touching or damaging any of the formations.

After exploring the caves, the tour moves on to the town of Valencia, located about 80 kilometers from Mabinay. Valencia, which is known for its lush green scenery, hot springs, and waterfalls.
